Hey, I told you that I would try to keep up.. I kind of forgot about starting this. I'm tired tonight, and will probably keep this short. Gabe's Dad is doing well, he tires easier than he used to, and he is bored and wants to go back to work.
According to the blood work, and the specialist, Dr. Ramirez, Anthony had a bout of mono.... yeah, strange, huh? Apparently the test they ran, the EBV, which stands for the Epstein-Barr Virus, which causes mono, showed that Anthony has recently had mono...
He has had no symptoms, other than that they found that his liver and spleen were enlarged. He never felt bad, or had any other symptoms that would lead me to believe that he was sick.
Anyway, that is what is new this week.

First Day
Well this is the first day of the blog. Today was a pretty normal day, however I did manage to steal a few moments just sitting on the couch with Gabe before he left today. He is off work, at least officially, for a while to go stay with his dad (Don). Don just had an aortic valve replacement last Thursday, and they sent him home yesterday, which was Monday!!! Medical technology these days is really amazing! I called Gabe a while ago, and asked how Don was doing, and he said, he's in the kitchen fixing lunch! They're not going to keep him down for long, I'm afraid. Let's hope that he doesn't try to be superman, and overdo it to the point of harm...
Anyway, then we had a pretty normal day at school, with Timothy and Greggory. It is a challenge to do both first and second grade at the same time!! Inevitably, one or the other is trying to answer questions for each other. Hopefully someone is learning something, I know I am!! Wondering how in the world I am going to teach Kindergarten, second and third grade next year?? Me too!!
On the agenda for today, is to finish school, do a little house cleaning and laundry, and then soccer practice at 5:30, unless it gets rained out!
Well, I'll sign off for now, until next time!
